Doug Foster Class of 68
Tavernier, fl USA <fishtales@hotmail.com >
After graduating from Armstrong in 1968 (as a member of the first 4 year graduating class) I was drafted into the Army and spent a year in Vietnam. After my discharged in 1970, I went to work for IBM in Boca Raton, Fl as a junior programmer. This was a time when industry was hiring all kinds of disciplines since "Computer Science" was just getting started. I just retired from IBM with 30 years of service and am now living in the Florida Keys. It's a miserable life but someone has to do it.

My daughter is in 6th grade, and I'm volunteering at her school to lead a mini-class 45 minutes per week on problem solving techniques based on problems from the NH Math League and the Math Forum (http://forum.swarthmore.edu).

John Davis Class of 95
Auburn, AL USA <davis05@mail.auburn.edu>
In December 1998, I finished my Ph.D. in Differential Equations at Auburn University under the direction of Professor Johnny Henderson. I am currently a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Auburn. However, in the Fall of 1999, I will begin a tenure track position at Baylor University in Texas. I owe what little mathematical success I've had to the wonderful instruction I had while an undergraduate at Armstrong!
