y' = loga'x' if and only if x' = a'y' In order to avoid the confusion of x and a in the definition
with the x and a in the statement, we will use x',a'and y' in
the definition of the logarithm. Write out the definition of the
logarithm of x' with a base of a'.
Show work. Identify the values of y, a, and x in the equation y = loga ax .
