i) Find the exact solution to the equation 3 ln 2x = 7. (Do not use a calculator.)

ii) Use a calculator to find a 4 decimal approximation to the answer.

ln 2x = 7/3 . Divide both sides by 3 in order to prepare the equation
for the application of the inverse natural log function
